Pete Nowaskey had been working as a mechanic for eight years. As a mechanic he really enjoyed working on Harley Davidsons. To focus his knowledge and skills, he enrolled at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. While attending MMI Pete received training in service and repair for late and early model Harley Davidsons. Pete is certified in 411 Harley Davidson late models, 420 Harley Davidson early models and Dynojet operation I. Pete graduated as MMI's top technician in the June 2004 graduating class and that earned him the prestigious “Top Tech Award”. After graduating from MMI Pete returned to Wisconsin to live out his dream of owning his own custom motorcycle shop. In January of 2005 Pistol Pete's Custom Cycles opened it's door. Pistol Pete's was first located in a small shop East of Menomonie, WI. In January of 2007 Pete moved the shop to a 5,000 square foot building located at 2010 Stout Rd. in Menomonie, WI. The new shop includes a large showroom and a 1700 square foot shop area. Pete's belief in “doing it right the first time” has helped to build a loyal customer base. With the move into town the business has been growing rapidly. As they continue to grow they look forward to getting to know you and helping you maintain and enjoy your Harley! |
